All equipment and lures are provided for your trip. Unlike many guides who don’t leave their clients handling equipment, I’d be happy to teach you fishing techniques specific to the Great Lakes and how to handle the equipment.

You must show at the dock 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to
receive safety advises.  The marina

Please bring with you seasonal clothing, rain suit, sunglasses, hat. It is also strongly recommended to have good sneakers or shoes that don’t slip.

Bring your lunch, small sized coolers are allowed on the boat.

Please note that no alcohol is allowed on the boats in the province of Ontario. Consumption and / or possession of any illegal substance will not be tolerated on board. To see the rules, Click here

If you think about seasickness, provide Gravol tablets or Bonamine, or patches Transderm- V ( Scopolamine ).

All of your fish will be filleted or gutted, according to your taste and packed in bags of conservation food. Please provide your own bag if you want to pack your whole fish though. Ice is available at the marina. Also provide good sizes coolers to bring your catches home.

Catch limit

You can keep to 2 or 5 salmonids , depending on your license – including species of salmonids following : Chinook salmon, Coho and Atlantic (Landlocked), brown trout , lake trout, and a maximum of two rainbow trout (Steelhead) per license. The trip may be shortened if all catch limits were reached before the scheduled time.

Childrens 18 and under and seniors 65 and older do not need a fishing license, only one ID piece with picture showing identification is required, do not hesitate to consult the rules by clicking on the following link below.

Information on fishing licenses

You must provide your own daily fishing license. You can get them in some local retailers or simply buy online via internet BEFORE your trip by clicking on the link below.

License will not be available on the boat on your day trip.

REGULAR RATES

(A deposit of $400 per day is required to reserve)

Day trip: $295 per person, plus applicable taxes (GST and PST) (minimum groupe of 4 persons)
Excursion approximately 8hrs (5h00 – 13H00 at the dock)

Evening trip: $215 per person, plus applicable taxes (GST and PST) (minimum groupe of 4 persons)
Excursion approximately 4hrs (16h00 – 20H00 at the dock)

Extra fishing time: $135 per hour after 13H00

An additional fee of $50 per person is applicable to someone who would like to accompany the group and NOT fish. Children 14 yrs old and under are welcome aboard for free.

ALL INCLUSIVE RATES

(A deposit of $600 per day is required to reserve)

Day trip: $350 per person, plus applicable taxes (GST and PST), (minimum groupe of 4 persons)
Excursion approximately 8hrs (5h00 – 13H00 at the dock)
Includes: Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages

Day trip + 1 night: $485 per person, plus applicable taxes (GST and PST), (minimum groupe of 4 persons)
Excursion approximately 8hrs (5h00 – 13H00 at the dock),
Includes: 1 night in double occupation, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and a snack.

Evening trip: $255 per person, plus applicable taxes (GST and PST) (minimum groupe of 4 persons)
Excursion approximately 4hrs (16h00 – 20H00 at the dock)
Includes: Non-alcoholic beverages and a snack

Extra night: $145 per person / day plus applicable taxes (GST and PST) (minimum 2 persons)

The deposit will be fully refunded, if and only if the cancellation is made more than 21 days prior to the date of excursion. No refund of the deposit, if cancellation is made less than 21 days before the excursion date. If cancelled by the guide, due to bad weather, the deposit will be transferred to the next reservation date. Valid for a period of 12 months following the date of the excursion.

In case of an early return due to bad weather, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

In case of an early return at the customer’s requests for other reasons (example: sea sickness) the fee will be adjusted according to the numbers of hours on the water.

Fishing on Lake Ontario is more than just
a fishing trip,
it’s an opportunity to experiment unique and memorable fishing, just few hours from Montreal.

You’ll have the chance to experiment the adventure on a spacious & safe over 40 feet long and 14 feet wide boat completely equipped for sportfishing, with equipment at the cutting edge of new technologies. The boat has all the essential amenities, including a bathroom with toilet and comfortable space on the boat to stretch. Our vessel can easily accommodate groups of 3 to 8 people.

As a responsible captain, I attended and successfully passed all mandatory training to meet the requirements of Transport Canada for any operator of a commercial vessel. I also do have commercial liability insurance and I am a member of the Ontario Sportfishing Guides’ Association (http://www.ontariofishcharters.ca/).

All equipment and lures are provided for your excursion. Unlike many guides who do not leave their clients handle equipment, I’ll be happy to teach you how to handle the on-board equipment and the fishing techniques theory specific to the Great Lakes.

Here is the salmonoids species living in our beautiful Lake Ontario: Pacific salmon (Chinook and Coho), Atlantic salmon (landlocked), rainbow trout (steelhead), brown trout and lake trout.
